Hello!
Out of the blue, have you ever used the "art of self-cloning" (Bunshin no Jutsu)?
There is only one of you, right?
But what if you could make your future self do the work?
For those of you lamenting that you have no free time because you are overwhelmed by housework:
You can actually create time to some extent.
Let’s observe yourself closely to see if you have any moments where you are just spacing out.

"What should I make for tonight's side dish...?"
By the time your part-time shift ends,
your mind becomes completely consumed by grocery shopping.
When you go to the supermarket,
the same old routines pop into your head.
"Ah, I just made that dish the day before yesterday."
"I always, always struggle with the menu."
Before you know it, time slips away in vain.

On the 24th, I write down a dinner menu for 24 days in a notebook. It takes a full hour to think it all through, but everything becomes easy after that. I file my favorite recipes from websites like Cookpad, Kurashiru, and Rakuten Recipe, and either pick from them or choose my own original dishes. Below each menu item, I write down the ingredients needed to cook that meal. For items like bean sprouts that spoil quickly unless bought on the day or the day before, I write them down using a different colored pen. I finish as much meal prep as possible in the morning. That way, in the evening, I only need to simmer, boil, grill, or microwave the food, allowing me to get to my own work quickly. Family members who come home late are asked to microwave and eat their meals themselves. When it gets late at night, even if there are a few dishes left in the sink, I decide to clean them up tomorrow morning. No matter how much of a clean-freak I am, I steel my heart, quickly retreat from the kitchen, and get to my own work. It is best to thoroughly compartmentalize your time and decide exactly which blocks of time you are allowed to use for yourself.

This method is all about suffering all at once to make things easy all at once. It feels much more refreshing than dragging things out and agonizing over "this or that." You have to follow what is written down.
