Overcoming life's absurdities, I live in the "now."
In my teens, I was given just one week to live. That was where my miracle began.
In my 30s, I experienced marriage, childbirth, and divorce. Amidst the raging vortex of fate, I passed the national nursing exam at age 39 just to survive.
In my 40s, I moved to New York alone. Although I successfully registered as a foreign nurse (CGFNS), a cruel twist of fate closed the path to working in the United States.
Life is sometimes absurd, a succession of moments where you feel completely cornered.
However, after making it through countless moments of despair, what I encountered was the truth of non-duality: "Everything is one, and inherently, no one is ever hurt."
True freedom begins when you stop trying to control your suffering.
By weaving together my tumultuous path and the perspective of non-duality, I hope this blog provides you with hints to overcome the world's absurdities and live a little more effortlessly starting today.
